Overview of the game

What is Scrum Heist

Scrum Heist is a unique hybrid Scrum simulation game in which teams of up to six players work together to rob a bank in a fictional hybrid VR setting. Each player assumes a specific role - Scrum Master, Product Owner or Developer - and works with their team through three levels to achieve the goal of generating as much of value as possible for the mysterious client.

The simulation combines a VR experience for 1 player with physical objects/documents and digital interaction on a website by the up to 5 other teammates. By making smart choices in the short Sprints, players learn that assumptions are not always correct and being distracted from the goal can have painful consequences. Scrum Heist takes up to an hour per game, making it an engaging and immersive learning experience that fits well into an existing session.
